For 7th-12th Grade Students:
• Friday, Lunch Clean Up (March 27) – Junior High Boys
• Friday Music, March 27 – CHOIR
• Platte Health Care Auxiliary will be awarding $1000 scholarships again this year. Any student planning to enter a health care field is eligible to apply. Inquire in the office (with Shauna or Rachel) for an electronic application form. Applications are due April 18, 2026.
• Tracksters and golfers – if you are going to miss school for a meet remember it is your responsibility to get your make up work IN ADVANCE. It would be a good idea to do this in class the day before a meet to make sure the teacher has not left for the day!
• Golf practice will start Monday, March 30.
• Clarification: DGT on April 9th is for grades 5-12 this year! This is a change from past years, when it was only 7-12. The Spring Concert on April 30th will be ONLY PreK-4. (Note that the Art Show on April 30th will still be grades K-8.)
• Office ponytail supply has been replenished! And they are better than the last ones.
• Sign-up in the office if you are interested in taking Drivers Ed in Platte. Cost is $250 and you need to be 14 by July 1st. Classes will begin April 28.
• Short golf meeting (5 minutes) in the gym after school today.
For Preschool-6th Grade Students:
• Lunch Times: 11:40 a.m. – preschool; 11:45 a.m. – kindergarten; 11:50 a.m. – 1st/2nd grades; 11:55 p.m. – 3rd/4th grades; 12:00 p.m. – 5th/6th grades

Parents/Readers on the Web:
• The annual Society Meeting Monday, March 30, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the gymnasium. You will be asked to approve a new budget and to vote for new board members at this meeting. The nominees for new board members are Jessica Brouwer, Anthony DeHaan, Cassie Erickson, Shane Niewenhuis, Pearce Vander Pol, and Danica Zomer You will be asked to vote for three. All DCS supporters are welcome and encouraged to attend. Absentee ballots are available at the DCS office.
• An email went out with registration forms for Corsica softball and baseball. Please return to the office TODAY.
• All are welcome to join staff and students for their annual Easter breakfast and chapel Thursday, April 2 at 8:30 am in the DCS gym. Chapel will include worship and a dramatization of the Stations of the Cross. This will be accompanied by a breakfast of rolls and fruit provided by the DCS Student Council.
• Only one more food truck order for this school year. If you would like to place an order, let Harriett know by Thursday, April 9, for a Monday, April 13, delivery.
