High School Students: If you would be interested in going to Pierre this week Friday, March 31 – April 1, to participate in a Mock legislation process please contact Cassidy Vanden Hoek or Mrs. Van Dusseldorp. Saturday morning, after a lock in at Stanley Count High School Gym, the group will go to the capitol and hold a mock session on the floor of the State House of Representative until 3:00 on Saturday afternoon.

Young band festival is tomorrow. 5th and 6th be at school at 7:45 a.m. Lunch is provided. Remember you instrument, music, and water bottle. You may wear jeans. T-shirts will be provided at registration. Concert is at 4:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Performing Arts Center and the public is encouraged to attend. Students should arrive back to DCS around 6:00 p.m.

TONIGHT is the annual Society Meeting beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the gymnasium. You will be asked to approve a new budget and vote for new board members at this meeting. The nominees for new board members are Sarah BaanHofman, Mona DeGroot, Traci Niewenhuis, Otto Qualm, Corey Vander Pol, and Randy Veurink.
Drivers wanted for Prairie Readers on Wednesday! Leave DC approximately 11:30 a.m. will return by the end of the school day. Contact Mrs. Middendorp if you are willing to help with this.
Senior Parents – invitations went home last week with your senior for the parent senior banquet.
The juniors are looking for the following items to borrow for banquet: white bistro table and chairs, rustic white window frame, white and blue Christmas lights, and white plant stands. If you are willing to let the juniors borrow any of these items, please let Jenna Masur know: jennamasur@dakotachristian.net or 605-840-1782.
The DCS Student Council and Chapel Committee would like to invite everyone to Easter Chapel and Breakfast on Thursday, April 6, at 8:30 a.m. in the DCS gym. A complimentary breakfast consisting of Dutch Oven Bakery rolls, fruit, juice, and coffee will be served. This will be followed by a special Easter Chapel.
5th-8th grade vocal musicians will present a vocal recital of solos and small ensemble numbers on Monday, April 17, at 1:00 p.m. in the music room. This is primarily for parents, grandparents and special supporting friends of the students. Please plan to join us from 1:00 p.m. to approximately 4:00 p.m. A schedule will be sent home with students and by email with more specific details.
Know any 3, 4, and 5 year olds that are ready for a new adventure? Preschool and kindergarten open house is next Tuesday, April 4th, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Parents and future preschoolers and kindergartners are invited to join us that evening and learn about our programs, meet the teachers, and explore the classrooms!
Nominees for fellowship officers are needed for the next meeting on May 1st when elections will be held. Please prayerfully consider serving God in this way. If you have questions or are willing to put your name in, you may contact Sarah BaanHofman, Jamie Munneke, or Traci Niewenhuis.
