• Congratulations to this year’s All-State Chorus delegates Danae Feenstra, Scarlett Cole, Jeremiah Carver, and Ty Maas! And also to the alternates Ahnali VanZuidam, Audrey DeHaan, and Felicity Davis. All-State Chorus will be held at 7:00 p.m. October 30-31 at The Monument in Rapid City.
• Quiz Bowl team - Audrey DH, Felicity D, Danae F and alternates Mailey DH, and Lane N - starts their season with a WIN! They competed against Huron and walked away with a 3-2 win. For 7th-12th Grade Students:
• Lunch Clean-Up, Friday, October 9: 7th/8th Boys
• Please silence your phones when you turn them in. We don’t enjoy the buzzing all day long.
• 7th graders who completed the Summer Learning Program will have their off-campus lunch they earned on Friday, October 16. We will plan on leaving at 12:00 pm. and be gone for the rest of the afternoon.
• Cross Country for this week:
Tuesday- October 6 @ DC
Wednesday- October 7 @DC
Thursday- October 8 @Parkston (leave AC at 2:15; meet DC at Armour corner at 2:45)
Friday- No school in AC; no practice
**XC will be done for 6th grade after Parkston as they can't compete at regions
• Josh Brewer will be speaking Wednesday night at Platte Area youth group. Junior high starts at 6:30, senior high SUPPER starts at 7 with youth group beginning at 7:30.
