Michael Maas

Favorite subject area:  Business/accounting

My favorite Bible passage:  “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all you ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight.”  Proverbs 3:5-6

Favorite Activity:  hunting/fishing

Favorite food:  Steak

Best high school memory:  Sports, especially state track freshman year.

What makes you laugh: Pretty much anything that makes Ahna laugh.

Place I’d like to visit:  Alaska

What have you done at DCS that you’ve really enjoyed:  Playing sports.

Important way DC has strengthened my faith:  Chapels every week.

Best advice ever given me:  Remember the good times, it’s okay to forget the bad.

Advice to Underclassmen:  No matter how much you say you hate high school, you’re going to look back on it and miss it.  Enjoy every moment.

What have you done at DCS that you've really emjoyed: Sports
 
Next year plans: I plan to attend the University of Sioux Falls
 
What do you dream of doing: Traveling the world and sharing the gospel with people.
 
Important way DC has strengthened my faith: Devotions, chapels, and lock-ins
 
The best advice ever given to me: Live every day like it's your last
 
Advice to underclassmen: Enjoy high school; it goes by fast.

What do you dream of doing: Helping kids and mkaing htem feel loved through the hard times in their lives
 
The best advice ever given to me: Do the right thing even when it doesn't feel right. Feelings sometimes get in the way of obedience. God blesses obedience.
 
Advice to underclassmen: Enjoy high school and don't rush to grow up.
