February 21, 2012

What’s Coming Up (more details below):

    Thursday the 23rd – 7th – 12th Science Fair starts at 7:00
Friday the 24thth  – Hot lunch served by the freshman

Just a reminder:  As much as possible before students leave in the morning please have arrangements made for their afternoon transportation and let them know who they are supposed to be riding home with.  It can be hectic at the end of the day, and it helps teachers and office staff so much to have this taken care of in advance. Thanks!!

  • From the Library   Books are due on Wednesday!  It is so exciting to see our younger students wanting to take more and more books home!  Mrs. Van Dusseldorp

  • Prairie Reader Items:  Hopefully your study questions will be given to your child by the end of this week.  Please keep these in a safe place and practice them at home.  Our school does not have study times after school like some schools do.  We will study during library time and a few other times before the event.

  • Friday Hot Lunch will be Super Nachos and dessert served by the freshman. Cost will be $3 for 7th grade-adult and $2.75 K-6th.  Orders are due by the end of the day on Wednesday. (That’s tomorrow!:o)

  • We are looking for a couple of volunteers who would be willing to help with the Newsletter mailing Friday morning.  If could do this please call the office.  Thanks!

  • Rachel Faller would like board games (Twister, Candyland, etc.) that you no longer need.  If you have any to give to her you can drop them off at school.  Thanks!

  • If you would like one of a limited supply of Pizza Ranch coupon books that are still available for $15, please contact Carolyn Wolbrink (680-4832). Profit will be used for the Bible Bee.

  • Thanks to all of you who sent in your Boxtops for Education.   There are also ways to earn points for our school on the boxtops for education website.  www.boxtops4education.com   Check it out!

  •  Dish cloths have arrived!  Cost is $2.00 each.  If you would like some you contact Tiffany Sybesma by calling (337-2519), texting (680-3135), or emailing (ct_sybesma@hotmail.com).

  • The upcoming Fellowship and Tour of Tables event at Dakota Christian School is Friday, March 9, at 6:30 p.m.  If you haven’t been invited by a hostess you are still welcome to come.
